Edit c:\Program Files\cron\cron.tab to include the following:
#CRONTAB FILE # Classic crontab format: # Minutes Hours Days Months WeekDays Command #*/15 8-16 * * 1-5 checkmail.exe # Performs restart nightly at 23:59 59 23 * * * C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe -rf # Don't forget to put "c:\Program Files\cron\startcron.bat" # into the registry for autorun at startup! Startup folder # probably works too.
Note the last instruction-- Startcron.bat must be set to autorun at startup.
Consult the help file in creating new cron jobs. It's very simple-- the first 5 fields are the time (this has only to-the-minute resolution), and the last field is the command to run on the schedule. The example above reboots the computer every night at 11:59PM (23:59)
