Streambox Live: Install the Streambox Encoder
Users of the Streambox Live service have access to free encoding software for OSX, Windows, and mobile platforms. The encoder allows users to capture live video and stream it via IP network to the web. This document will describe the steps needed to install the Streambox Encoder for your platform.
Sign in to your account
To change your password, you must log in. Open your web browser and connect to http://live.streambox.com. Type your username and password then click “sign in”.
Download the Encoder
After you log in, click on the “Download Tools” icon on the right hand side.
Locate the “Streambox App” section and click “Try”. Clicking this link will take you to a page where you can select the software for your platform.
On the page that opens select platform you’re using to download the encoder software. If you are using iPhone or Android you’ll be redirected to the Appstore or Google Play page for the Streambox software.
Windows: Run the Installer
After you download the software, double-click on the installer to start the installation.
Click “Next” to begin.
Click “I Agree” to agree to the terms of the license.
Set the path to install the software to.
When the installation is complete click “Finish” to start using the encoder software.
